Inspired by the iconic Mayan Chac-Mool, this piece evokes, in a manner as metaphorical as it is ironic, the ideal link between gods and men with a posture that engenders repose and well-being, inviting conversation and relaxation. Designed especially for the Second Latin American Biennale (Amsterdam 2005), the work was chosen as the image of the exhibition.
